Title: G1xon Expression pedal switch (mod)
Post by: werafa on August 27, 2017, 02:07:20 AM
Hi all,

A few of you may have noticed that there is a small switch under the expression pedal on the G1xon. This switch activates and deactivates the effect to which the expression pedal is associated. The trouble is - this switch can not be activated by an unmodified pedal.

The solution is to glue a small pad to the pedal where it can activate the switch.
I used a small disc cut from an old leather belt that is 4mm thick (slightly thinner than the rubber pad that surrounds the switch area)
This permits a little pressure on the expression pedal to activate the switch, and enables one of Zoom's many unadvertised features.
this is a simple op, and (depending on the glue you use), easily reversible.

I hope you find this useful

Thanks, I had no idea - still playing with patches and haven't gotten that far but will look at mine later today and probably do this mod.
